The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit

Health Services

Virtual PHAs

Active Duty Service Members can obtain a virtual PHA through the DHA VIPRR Clinic.  This is option allows beneficiaries to complete the second part of their PHA over the phone with a provider without the need to travel to our clinic.  In order to utilize the virtual PHA option:

1. The Service Member (SM) must first complete Part 1 (member portion) online
through their service specific medical readiness portal.

2. Next, the Service Member will ensure vision, dental and hearing are all up-to
date if possible, but this is NOT a requirement to be seen by the VIPRR Care Clinic.

3. Then, the Service Member will contact the Virtual Appointment Management
Office (VAMO) to make an appointment at 1-844-VMEDCEN (863-3236).

4. Lastly, he/she will be ready to complete the virtual appointment as instructed on
the day of the appointment. Additional instructions are provided by the VAMO staff

We welcome feedback from our customers.  Please utilize the DOD's Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) portal to let us know how we are doing.  Navigate to ice.disa.mil and then Search for "Dwight D.
