Primary Care

The Army Health Clinic SOUTHCOM provides ambulatory primary healthcare services to enrolled active duty service members, adult active duty family members, and TRICARE-eligible retirees working within U.S. Army Garrison-Miami. The clinic is located on the SOUTHCOM Headquarters at 9301 NW 33rd St., Doral, Florida, in the Installation Services building, STE A1040.

All beneficiaries who need care on a day on which the clinic is closed should call the MHS Nurse Advice Line 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273), option 1 or MHSNurseadviceline.com. The Nurse Advice Line is available 24/7 by phone, web chat, and video chat. The Nurse Advice Line can find an urgent care or emergency care facility, give beneficiaries recommendations for the most appropriate level of care, schedule same or next day appointments when recommended by a registered nurse and enrolled to a military hospital or clinic. The Nurse Advice Line can also provide an online “absence excuse” or “sick slip” when medically appropriate-subject to Service Command requirements.  If the medical issue poses a threat to life, limb, or eyesight, the beneficiary should head straight to the nearest Emergency Room. Please remember to follow-up with your provider the next business day.
